Introduction to CnOpenData China Partnership Enterprises Entry and Exit Information Statistical Data

  Against the backdrop of reform and opening-up policies and the construction of a socialist market economy system with Chinese characteristics, market entities across various industries and economic sectors have actively engaged in market activities, providing continuous momentum for the development of market economies in China and globally.

  According to relevant Chinese legal regulations, establishing a company requires applying for registration with the company registration authorities, through which basic information of market entities is disclosed. Such publicly available information—including enterprise classification by main business activities, registered address, registered capital, and registration date—provides excellent research data support for studying corporate survival conditions, industry coverage, and market vitality in China.

  However, scholars frequently encounter challenges when utilizing these data: the complexity of basic business registration data rivals the grains of sand in the Ganges River. The sheer scale of this data makes acquisition and utilization excessively time-consuming. To facilitate academic research, CnOpenData has statistically processed basic information of Chinese partnership enterprises, providing researchers with multi-dimensional statistical data.

Data Features

  • This dataset primarily focuses on entry and exit statistics of Chinese partnership enterprises.
  • It not only counts newly registered enterprises by region, year, industry, and enterprise nature(企业性质), but also tracks de-registered enterprises, deriving the number of surviving enterprises;
  • The data is processed through two-dimensional, three-dimensional, and four-dimensional statistical approaches, featuring rich fields(字段) and comprehensive tables that cover multi-dimensional analytical requirements.
