  "Made in China 2025" proposes basic policies and main tasks such as innovation-driven, green development, intelligent manufacturing, and strengthening the industrial base. As the main carrier of the real economy, the green development of industry is of great significance. To consolidate the current results, technological innovation is an important focus.

 As a result, the CnOpenData team matched the patent citation data of Chinese industrial enterprises with the green patent innovation data, forming a database of green patents and citations of Chinese industrial enterprises. The structural difference between this database and the listed companies' green patents and cited databases is that this database combines the "green patent patent number category" table in the listed company's green patents and cited databases with the "basic information table". You can obtain green patent number category information only in the basic information table.

  Structurally, each table in the database is divided into three categories, namely: invention announcement, invention authorization, and utility model (no green patent for appearance design). On the basis of three major categories, it is further divided into: Chinese industrial enterprise patent basic information table, Chinese industrial enterprise patent citation information table, Chinese industrial enterprise patent cited information table and Chinese industrial enterprise patent affairs information table. It is worth noting that this database has a new "text data" module, which contains text information on three types of patents: invention announcement, invention authorization, and utility model patents. It is a powerful supplement to the green patent data of industrial enterprises.
