The China Green Manufacturing List, issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), aims to promote green development in the manufacturing sector and facilitate the achievement of carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals within the industrial domain. This list encompasses recommendations for Green Factories, Green Design Products, Green Industrial Parks, and Green Supply Chain Management Enterprises.
- Green Factories (绿色工厂): Enterprises that achieve intensive land use, non-hazardous raw materials, clean production processes, waste resource recovery, and low-carbon energy consumption. These constitute the core implementation units of green manufacturing.
- Green Industrial Parks (绿色工业园区): Industrial parks that integrate the philosophy of green and low-carbon development throughout park planning, spatial layout, industrial chain design, energy utilization, resource utilization, infrastructure development, ecological environment management, and operational oversight. They comprehensively realize green, low-carbon, and circular sustainable development, serving as platforms for the agglomeration of green factories and green infrastructure.
- Green Supply Chain Management Enterprises (绿色供应链管理企业): Leading enterprises that embed the concept of green and low-carbon development across the entire lifecycle of enterprise products—including design, raw material procurement, production, transportation, storage, sales, usage, and end-of-life treatment. They drive synergistic improvements in the green performance of the entire supply chain and are pivotal in motivating upstream and downstream factories within the supply chain to implement green manufacturing practices.
Enterprises or parks selected for the Green Manufacturing List are required to meet a series of criteria, including the absence of safety incidents or environmental pollution accidents within the preceding three years, as well as compliance with specific energy efficiency levels and green manufacturing standards. Selected entities may enjoy incentive policies provided by the government, gain social recognition, and enhance their corporate image and competitiveness.
Based on the Green Manufacturing Lists released by the General Office of MIIT, CnOpenData has compiled and organized the lists of Green Factories, Green Supply Chain Management Demonstration Enterprises, Green Design Products, Green Parks, and Revoked Green Manufacturing Entities. These lists include fields such as Region (地区), Enterprise Name (企业名称), Factory Name (工厂名称), Industry (行业), Batch (批次), Rating Agency (评级机构), and Evaluation Standard (评价标准). Building upon these lists, CnOpenData has matched the industrial and commercial registration information of green manufacturing enterprises to form the China Green Manufacturing Enterprises Basic Industrial and Commercial Information Dataset, providing comprehensive data resources for relevant research.
