The China Green Manufacturing List is issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to promote green development in the manufacturing sector and advance carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals in the industrial domain. This list encompasses green factories, green design products, green industrial parks, and green supply chain management enterprises.
- Green Factories: Enterprises that achieve intensive land use, non-toxic raw materials, clean production, waste recycling, and low-carbon energy utilization. They serve as the core implementation units of green manufacturing.
- Green Industrial Parks: Industrial parks that integrate the concept of green and low-carbon development throughout processes such as park planning, spatial layout, industrial chain design, energy utilization, resource utilization, infrastructure, ecological environment, and operational management. These parks comprehensively achieve green, low-carbon, and circular sustainable development, acting as platforms for the aggregation of green factories and green infrastructure.
- Green Supply Chain Management Enterprises: Leading enterprises that embed the concept of green and low-carbon development across the entire lifecycle of product design, raw material procurement, production, transportation, storage, sales, use, and disposal. They drive the coordinated improvement of full-chain greening levels in the supply chain and are pivotal in promoting green manufacturing practices among upstream and downstream factories.
Enterprises or parks included in the Green Manufacturing List must meet a series of criteria, such as no safety incidents or environmental pollution accidents in the past three years, as well as compliance with specific energy efficiency levels and green manufacturing standards. Listed entities may enjoy government incentives, gain social recognition, and enhance their corporate image and competitiveness.
Based on the Green Manufacturing List released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, CnOpenData has compiled and organized lists of green factories, green supply chain management demonstration enterprises, green design products, green parks, and revoked green manufacturing entities.
