  According to relevant Chinese laws and regulations, establishing a company requires applying for registration with the company registration authority in accordance with the law. Basic information about relevant market entities is consequently disclosed, including enterprise business classification, registered address, registered capital, and registration date. This publicly available information serves as excellent research data for studying the survival status of Chinese enterprises, industry coverage, market vitality, and related issues.

  However, scholars often encounter significant difficulties when utilizing this data: the complexity of basic information on industrially and commercially registered enterprises is as vast as the sands of the Ganges. Acquiring and utilizing such a massive dataset is prohibitively time-consuming and labor-intensive. To facilitate scholarly research, CnOpenData has statistically processed the basic information data of Chinese partnership enterprises, providing researchers with multi-dimensional statistical data.

• This dataset primarily focuses on the entry and exit data of Chinese partnership enterprises.
• It not only counts the Number of Newly Established Enterprises (新增企业数量) by region, year, industry, and enterprise type, but also tracks the Number of Deregistered Enterprises (注销企业数量), thereby deriving the number of surviving enterprises.
