According to the definition of ISO-8373-2012, industrial robots are those that can be automatically controlled, reprogrammed, programmed on three or more axes, and can implement process steps required by humans on fixed or mobile platforms, including but not limited to manufacturing, inspection, packaging and assembly. The Global Industrial Robot Database published by the International Federation of Robotics (IFR) provides the total number of industrial robots that meet ISO standards in more than 100 countries or regions around the world. It is currently the most authoritative database for studying robot applications and has been widely used in related research. The IFR industrial robot data mainly uses the International Standard Industry Classification (ISIC). Some industries involving a small number of robot applications are aggregated, and some major consumer industries (especially the automotive industry) are further subdivided.
CnOpenData has established a display area and data index for this data to facilitate scholars to browse.
