Customs data refers to information collected, organized, statistically processed, and published by national customs authorities regarding imported/exported goods, including transportation, prices, quality, origins, and other attributes. These data typically reflect the import/export trade status, trade structure, trade partners, and related aspects of a country or region. China's customs import/export data serves as a critical source for understanding the international trade activities of Chinese enterprises, characterized by comprehensiveness, granularity, reliability, and customizability. It holds significant value for businesses and research institutions in formulating trade strategies, conducting market analyses, and related endeavors.
By matching China's industrial enterprise lists (1998-2013) with the "operating unit name" field in China's customs import/export data, CnOpenData has constructed detailed transaction records of customs import/export activities for Chinese industrial enterprises. This dataset covers fields including industrial enterprise name (工业企业名称), year (年份), HS commodity code (HS商品编码), amount_USD (金额_美元), quantity (数量), operating unit name (经营单位名称), and production/consumption region name (产消地区名称), providing robust data support for relevant research.
