 The digital transformation of enterprises has been an area of ​​focus for all sectors of Chinese society in recent years, but the imperfection of basic data has largely restricted the development of relevant scientific research. Constructing a reasonable and scientific digital transformation index system will help scholars quantitatively study issues related to enterprise digitalization, and will also help measure the digitalization level of enterprises. Teacher Wu Fei of Guangdong University of Finance and his team compiled the annual reports of all A-share listed companies on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and Shenzhen Stock Exchange, and carried out structured classification (i.e. "underlying technology application" and "technical practical application" Two levels), forming a characteristic word map, and then classifying and collecting word frequencies in key technical directions and forming a final summed word frequency, thus forming a basic statistical database of enterprise digital transformation indicators.

 Based on this, the research team led by Dr. Chen Yunxian, founder of the national finance discipline, and Professor Tang Song, head of the national finance discipline at Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, actively responded to the needs of national policies and economic practice, and has achieved scientific research results in the team (Wu Fei et al. , 2021), Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share listed companies (2016-2020) are selected as the evaluation objects. Based on the unique perspective of annual report text information disclosure, innovative use of dual quantitative tools of big data text analysis and factor analysis Describe the intensity of digital transformation of each listed company in the corresponding year and provide a more comprehensive, objective and valuable experience for evaluating the digital transformation of companies.
