 The standard states that before 2025, the test working conditions of traditional energy passenger cars and plug-in hybrid electric passenger cars will be switched from NEDC to WLTC. The change in working conditions will affect the vehicle's comprehensive fuel consumption. At the same time, the test method will also change. The loading method in the "Light Vehicle Fuel Consumption Test Method" (GB/T19233-2020) is changed from the inertial mass loading method to the continuous loading method. Compared with the NEDC standard, the WLTC standard is more stringent, has a higher assessment level, and can reflect the driving status of the vehicle under real road conditions. Under the WLTC standard, the fuel consumption of fuel vehicles and the cruising range of electric vehicles are closer to the actual driving fuel consumption and cruising range.
