Under the background of reform and opening up and building a socialist market economy system with Chinese characteristics, market entities of various industries and economic natures have actively participated in market activities, providing a continuous source of power support for the development of the market economy in China and even the world.   

  Looking back on the development of my country's market economy over the past few decades, despite its considerable scale, a considerable number of enterprises have found it difficult to continue operating in a constantly changing market environment. The average lifespan of Chinese enterprises is much shorter than that of European, American, Japanese and Korean enterprises, which puts higher demands on my country's market system environment, financial support and entrepreneurs.

  The publicly disclosed basic information of Chinese industrial and commercial registered enterprises provides data support for enterprise research. In the past, statistics on the entry and exit of industrial and commercial registered enterprises were mostly based on a given year, counting the number of new entrants and exits in that year. This data is based on a given year, counting the cancellation and operation status of enterprises that have entered the market for a period of time. That is, it can intuitively display the cancellation and operation status of enterprises registered in a certain year and city within 1 year, 1-3 years, 3-5 years, and 5-10 years, and makes a statistical distinction between the nature of the enterprise and the major industry categories. This provides excellent data support for the study of the survival status and life span of Chinese enterprises.
