Second-hand houses refer to properties that have been registered at real estate transaction centers, completed initial registration and general registration, and are re-listed for transaction. Compared to newly-built commercial properties held by developers, they represent transactions in the tertiary market of real estate property rights. This category includes commercial housing, privatized public housing (fanggaifang) permitted for secondary market transactions, hardship-alleviation housing, demolition-relocation housing, self-built housing, economically affordable housing, and price-restricted housing.
Cities are classified into tier-1, new tier-1, tier-2, and tier-3-5 cities based on various criteria. Common classification standards include housing prices, urban development levels, living standards and per capita income, radiation-driven capabilities, talent attraction, and international recognition.
CnOpenData presents nationwide second-hand housing data, comprehensively covering distribution information across 28 provincial-level administrative regions, municipalities, and over 90 key cities. The data is categorized into transaction records and listing information based on transaction status. Furthermore, both transaction and listing data are subdivided into four tables according to city tiers, offering targeted and stratified insights with strong research representativeness. This dataset provides high-quality big data samples for studying China's housing vacancy rates, evaluating real estate regulation policies, and forecasting future housing price trends. It also enables exploration of urban development patterns, China's urbanization process, and macroeconomic growth from a housing perspective.
