To actively expand the import of advanced technologies, key equipment and components, and scarce resource-based products, support the development of key industries, and better leverage the positive role of import interest subsidy policies in promoting technological innovation and structural adjustment, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Commerce issued the Directory of Encouraged Import Technologies and Products. Simultaneously, provincial departments of commerce and finance in some provinces have revised and improved provincial-level Directories of Encouraged Import Technologies and Products based on their respective industrial development characteristics and needs, while forming complementary support with the national directory.
