According to the High-Tech Enterprise Certification Management Measures promulgated by the state in 2008, high-tech enterprises in China generally refer to resident enterprises that continuously engage in research and development as well as technological achievement transformation within the scope of the National Key Supported High-Tech Fields promulgated by the state, form core independent intellectual property rights, and conduct business activities based on these, representing knowledge-intensive and technology-intensive economic entities.
In the era of the knowledge economy, the high-tech industry has increasingly become a core industry driving technological progress and economic growth. As one of the important entities promoting national industrial transformation and technological innovation, the development of high-tech enterprises can not only enhance the technological added value of traditional industries and promote the efficient operation of the entire national economy, but also radiate surrounding areas and jointly drive progress in various regional fields.
To support research in related fields, CnOpenData has compiled and introduced extended basic data on China's high-tech enterprises, including extended basic fields of high-tech enterprises up to the latest year, such as taxpayer identification number, enterprise address, registered capital, registration time, industry information, latitude and longitude, business scope, etc.
