The county-level economy (县域经济) refers to an administrative division-based economic system centered around county towns, connected by townships, and supported by rural areas. As a typical regional economy, it operates within the geographical boundaries of county-level administrative divisions, builds upon agricultural and rural economic foundations, and promotes integrated development across primary, secondary, and tertiary industries. It serves as a crucial foundation and fundamental unit of the national economy.
China County Statistical Yearbook is a comprehensive reference yearbook documenting social and economic development across Chinese counties. Since 2014, it has been divided into two volumes: China County Statistical Yearbook (County and City Volume) and China County Statistical Yearbook (Township Volume). The County and City Volume includes basic information and comprehensive economic data for over 2,000 county-level units nationwide.
CnOpenData has compiled the China County Statistical Yearbook (County and City Volume) to create the China County Statistical Yearbook Dataset. This dataset covers indicators such as year (年份), province (省份), county/district/city (县区市), administrative division (所属行政区划), number of subdistrict offices (街道办事处个数), registered population (户籍人口), output value (产值), general public budget (一般公共预算), and rural labor force (乡村从业人员数), supporting related research.
