This sector encompasses over 20 categories and 200 service types. To meet diverse market demands, domestic services have evolved into varied forms. Traditional services like cleaning, moving, and nannying have become more specialized, while new services such as postpartum care, companionship, counseling, financial planning, and healthcare have emerged as key components.
On February 20, 2019, the State Council executive meeting proposed measures to expand and improve domestic services, outlining specific actions in four areas: promoting community-based service enterprises and advancing service standardization. On June 26, 2019, the General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions of the General Office of the State Council on Promoting the Quality Improvement and Expansion of the Domestic Service Industry.
To support related research, CnOpenData presents China's domestic service information data, covering multiple service types including live-in housekeepers, non-live-in housekeepers, postpartum caregivers, childcare specialists, hourly workers, temporary hourly workers, and nursing attendants. The dataset comprises two tables: housekeeper information and service outlet information, with fields such as Housekeeper Name (保姆名称), Rating (好评情况), Location (所在地区), Expected Salary (期望薪资), Ethnicity (民族), Native Place (籍贯), Special Skills (个人特长), and Affiliated Outlet (所在门店).
